Generally constitutions ware framed by the constituent Assemblies’ A constituent assembly (sometimes also know as a Constitutional Convention) is a body composed of the purpose of drafting or adopting a constitution. Unlike forms of Constitution- making in which constitution is unilaterally imposed by a sovereign law- maker, the Constituent assembly creating a constituent through ‘initially imposed” action in that members of the Constituent Assembly are themselves citizens but not necessarily the rules of the country for which they are creating a Constitution. Constitutions arise in a number of different waya. At the non- democratic extreme of the Spectrum we may imagine a sovereign lawgiver laying down the constituent of all later generation. At the democratic extreme, we any imagine a Constituent assembly elected by universal suffrage for the sole task of writing a new Constitution.
