Dr. Jayasree Laha, Principal of Raja Narendralal Khan Women’s College, is a distinguished academic and a dedicated educator with extensive experience in higher education and research. A former Associate Professor of Chemistry at Midnapore College, Dr. Laha joined her current position in 2015. She holds a Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur, and her research has focused on polymer chemistry, nanotechnology, and materials science. Her work has earned recognition, including the prestigious Young Scientist Award at the Indian Science Congress and several sponsored research projects.Dr. Laha has contributed multiple chapters to academic books and published widely in refereed journals. Under her leadership, the college has achieved significant milestones, such as NAAC ‘A’ Grade Accreditation, a DBT-STAR project, and several grants from UGC and DST. In addition, the institution has received autonomy status and ranked among India’s top colleges in NIRF. As an editor, Dr. Laha brings a wealth of academic rigor and a deep commitment to advancing scholarly work, making her a valuable contributor to any publication.

D. Thesis under Supervision are eight (08). No. of M. Phil. Thesis supervised are more than 50. No. of Research Papers published are more than 100. Total No. of books published are: 1) eight books on Special and Inclusive Education. 2) five books on Philosophy. 3) books in press two.
Dr. Souravi Ata, College Contractual Teacher in Education of Raja Narendralal Khan Women’s College (Autonomous) Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. She has completed her Ph.D. in Education from Jadavpur University. She has published 20 articles in renowned International Peer-reviewed and UGC CARE listed journals with high impact factor and contributed many articles in edited books.
